Jimmy’s Burger To Open at Former Location of Kasbah

2 min read

Goodbye Kasbah, Hello Jimmy’s Burger. By now you have probably seen the new signs at the former long-standing Moroccan restaurant Kasbah Grill. Jimmy’s Burger and Grill is opening a new location in Irving, in addition to it’s original location across the street from Plano Masjid (IACC).

Now for the question we’ve all been asking, when will it open? Owner Belal says they are planning their grand opening for the 3rd week of July. The hours will be 11am to 11pm, which is great for late night burger cravings.

In addition to a wide selection of burgers, Jimmy’s has a large catering menu as well. The catering menu features mainly Pakistani/Indian dishes, such as biryani, karahi, korma, nihari, haleem, and much more.

Belal says they will be hiring a few people, with preference to local residents from the community. This is a great opportunity for youth looking for a summer job!

The location is clearly prime real estate, being so close to such a large community. Why else did Belal decide to expand to Irving? “I really like the community of Irving,” he says. “The people there are really great.”

Look out for a final announcement on the grand opening on our social media: The Irving Muslim on Facebook and Instagram!
