Imam Kashif Delivers Invocation at Irving City Council Meeting

Imam Kashif of Irving Masjid delivered the invocation on Thursday, September 3rd at Irving City Hall.

Attendees were required to wear masks and temperature checks were taken at the door.

Mayor Rick Stopfer invited the Imam to the microphone to address the council members, some of which joined in by Zoom calls.

After the invocation, a presentation was given by a company representative discussing a project to move electric lines underground. The council approved the proposal which would cost 0.08 cents per Irving resident.

Irving City Council meetings, which are open to the public, are held Thursdays at 7 pm. City Hall is located at 825 W. Irving Blvd. Irving, TX 75060.
